If you've seen my facebook you would already know that I starting making jewelry with my sea glass treasures. This got me thinking that I could actually make a little extra money sell this stuff... So, check out my Etsy shop. Salty Kisses and Sea Glass Wishes I started this with my friend Crystal who also has found a love for sea glass and everything crafty! Here's a few items I'm getting ready to list.
Aiden got to go to the Kids Park. It's an indoor playground very similar to the "Discovery Zone" from the '90s. There are a ton of these places all over the island. They say its because it gets so hot and humid here they want a place for the kids to still have fun and wear off all their energy. We went for his friends birthday and the 2 of them were so worn out by the time we left.
They couldn't wait until we paid. You get your tickets out of a vending machine... I thought this was pretty neat. Both kids took off through the entrance and started playing! I even climbed some parts and played too. It was great! They had 2 ball pits with slides, 2 trampolines, tons of those donkeys that you bounce on (favorite of both boys), zip line, and lots obstacle courses and slides!

We took a quick trip to Naha on Sunday. We didn't really have any particular place in mind we just decided to drive and see what we could find. And find we did! We have to go back and spend more time. We ended up stopping at Kokeshi Street. All it was were shops full of Japanese everything from food, alcohol, pottery, glass, and everything touristy. I'm a sucker for all that stuff.
On the way home we stopped at Arin Kirn "The Garlic Restaurant". I loved it. Daniel said he liked it while we were there, but on the way home he said it was way too much garlic. And then there was me, " I want to go again!"
Everything had tons of garlic in it. We tried the Garlic Pizza (delish) and deep fried garlic (Daniel said this was the best thing of the dinner), Garlic Pasta with bacon, and a salad. The salad was good, but I think that's what killed it for Daniel. The dressing was so strong you couldn't taste anything but the vinegar and garlic. I'll upload the pictures from this outing soon...they are on Daniel's phone.
